The Turkish businessmen will strengthen their relations with their counterparts in Tanzania and Belarus, after their representatives discussed and signed recently an important document for the benefit of the collaboration between Turkey and the African country.

The economic crises and other political reasons have been slowing down the process of Turkey’s accession to the European Union, which is an important goal for the local businessmen who are trying to “energize” the process. Lately the adherence to EU has been in “deep freeze”, as Cansen Başaran Symes, head of Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) declared for Hürriyet.

The gas from Azerbaijan will reach the Western European countries through a pipeline that will cross Turkey and this project is meant to reduce the dependence of the European countries on the Russian gas.

India and Turkey will have better commercial links that are to be promoted by a new trade association that was recently launched. The businessmen in both countries will benefit from better trade links and the association will help them get in touch more easily for import-export activities and discover new opportunities for doing business.

A three storey tunnel will be build under the waters of the Bosphorus in order to connect the Asian and the European parts of Istanbul, declared the Turkish authorities who are in charge with this mega project.
